Payment Policy:

A $625 deposit is payable upon application and fully refunded immediately if the retreat is full.

Full payment is due two weeks prior to commencement and participants agree to pay any outstanding balance no later than this date.

Waitlist Policy

If the retreat is full, we can add your name to our waitlist upon request in writing, or advise of other available dates.

If we’re able to confirm your place on retreat, we will contact you and full payment will be due immediately.

Refund Policy

If the participant withdraws or transfers from a retreat, the following refund policy applies:

If the balance of the retreat fee is not received by the notified due date (six weeks prior to retreat commencement), a participant’s place may be offered to someone on the waiting list. The participants will forfeit the deposit paid.

a) If the participant withdraws 30 days or more prior to retreat commencement the participant will receive a full refund of all monies paid, minus an administration fee of $50.

b) If the participant withdraws 14-29 days prior to retreat commencement the participant will receive 75% of the full retreat fee, minus an administration fee of $100.

c) If the participant withdraws 1-13 days prior to participant commencement the participant will receive 50% of the full retreat fee.

d) If the participant withdraws after the retreat commences, the full retreat fee is non-refundable.

e) If the participant books and pays for any additional treatments or program options (e.g. massage, surfing, kayaking etc), cancellation by the participant within 7 days of program commencement will receive a full refund of the added option. Cancellation of added options by the participant within 6 days of program commencement are not eligible for a refund. Any activity (e.g. surfing or kayaking) cancelled by the operator due to weather conditions is fully refundable.

A specific cancellation policy applies for FULL and HALF Day retreats:

a) If a massage is booked for your full or half day retreat we will require more than 24 hours notice for cancellation, otherwise the massage is non-refundable.

b) Out of respect for our therapists, if you are unwell on the day of your massage, you will not be able to attend your massage.

Transfer Policy

If circumstances arise that require a transfer from the retreat on which you have a confirmed booking you will need to supply us with a request in writing.

If a waitlisted participant can fill the space then you may be able to transfer your place to another applicable retreat at a cost of $200. This option is limited to one transfer only (after this, the regular refund policy applies) and depends upon a case by case assessment of your situation.

If there are no waitlisted participants to fill the space the regular refund policy applies to your transfer.

Credit Policy for Cancelled Bookings

  • 12-Month Expiry: Store credit issued for cancelled bookings is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • No Refunds: Once store credit is provided, it cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
  • Non-Transferable: Store credit is for the original recipient only and cannot be transferred.

By accepting store credit, you agree to these terms. Please contact us with any questions.

The following conditions apply for International Retreats:  

The administration fee increases to $200 in relation to refunds.

Byron Yoga Centre will advise re visa and travel requirements, however it is your final responsibility to ensure your travel documents are in order.

As it is the requirement of most countries, please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after return date.

Byron Yoga Centre strongly advises that you have adequate travel insurance to include full cover for the duration of your journey. Although we offer full care, we cannot accept any responsibility if you choose not to cover yourself appropriately.

Use of Written and Photographic Material

Any written material provided to Byron Yoga Centre in the form of feedback forms may be used by Byron Yoga Centre for marketing purposes. Any photographs taken by Byron Yoga Centre of attendees on our yoga classes or retreats may be used by the Byron Yoga Centre for marketing purposes.

If you would prefer we do not use any of the above material written by you or containing your image it is your responsibility to advise Byron Yoga Centre of this in a written document.

 

SAUNA POLICY

Liability Waiver & Release

Policy in line with Cedar & Salt 

LOYLY PTY LTD trading as Cedar & Salt (‘Provider’) ACN 668 905 511

  1. I hereby waive and release, indemnify, hold harmless, and forever discharge LOYLY PTY LTD trading as Cedar & Salt, and its agents, employees, officers, directors, affiliates, successors and assigns, coaches, teachers, and trustees from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, cause of action, lawsuits, damages, and liabilities, of every kind or nature, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that I ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to my participation in any of the events or activities conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of LOYLY PTY LTD trading as Cedar & Salt. This waiver of liability does not apply to acts of gross negligence or intentional, wilful, or wanton misconduct.
  2. I understand that the activities in which I will participate are inherently dangerous and may cause serious or grievous injuries, including bodily injury, damage to personal property, and/or death. I waive all claims of damage, injuries, and death sustained by me or any property against the released party, including claims in tort, contract, equity, or otherwise.
  3. I acknowledge, agree, and represent that I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate. If I believe conditions are unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation.
  4. I assume all risk and take full responsibility for personal injury, death, damage, or loss of personal property associated with LOYLY PTY LTD trading as Cedar & Salt, including but not limited to sauna use, swimming, ice baths, or deliberate cold water immersion.
  5. This waiver and release contains the entire agreement between parties and supersedes prior agreements. It may only be altered in writing with consent from all parties.
  6. This waiver remains in effect even after participation ends.
  7. I have read, understood, and fully agree to the terms. I understand that by signing, I waive considerable future legal rights.
  8. I sign this agreement freely, voluntarily, without duress, inducement, promise, or guarantee.

Cancellation / No Show & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your assigned sauna session, you will be issued a credit for your next sauna booking.
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before your session, you will be issued a refund or credit.

No Show Policy:

  • If you do not show up for your sauna session, you will be charged the full rate with no refund or credit.

Rescheduling Policy:

  • You may reschedule your sauna session and use the credit for another session at any time. Please provide as much notice as possible so we can free your spot for another bather.
