Cedar and Salt is redefining the sauna experience with its authentic Finnish wood-fired saunas, designed to connect you to nature and the timeless traditions of heat therapy. Unlike conventional electric or infrared saunas, Cedar and Salt’s wood-fired design creates a natural, grounding atmosphere with the gentle crackle of burning wood and perfectly balanced, deep heat. The aromatic cedar wood enhances the experience, releasing a soothing fragrance as the sauna warms, promoting relaxation and healing.

The schedule is flexible, all sessions are optional, it is designed to maximise your retreat experience whilst allowing free time to enjoy being at Byron Yoga Retreat Centre.

There are options for extra off-site activities and you could also choose additional treatments when you purchase your retreat (all these are subject to availability, minimum numbers and additional costs).

Our retreats are suitable for yogis of all levels of experience including beginners. The yoga taught at Byron Yoga Retreat Centre is called Purna, meaning integrated or complete. We offer a holistic approach to yoga integrating not just the physical postures but also meditation, pranayama breath exercises and philosophy. You can find our more about Purna Yoga here. 

The following items are not included in the 3 Day Yoga Retreat price:

  • Additional activities that Byron Bay has to offer
  • Coffee, chai and cold drinks eg coconut water which can be purchased from our onsite cafe!
  • Sweet treats (‘healthy’ desserts: raw, gluten and refined sugar free) – also availble from our onsite cafe.

We boast 3 acres of beautiful organic gardens, which supplies most of the food for our vegetarian menu. Our meals are meticulously crafted to be nutritionally balanced, cleansing, and nourishing.

Our commitment to SLOW means sourcing super-fresh produce from our own organic gardens whenever possible and opting for local, organic, and in-season ingredients. This ensures not only the exceptional taste of our meals but also provides toxin-free food with maximum freshness, delivering optimum nutrients to the body.
